• Describe a conversation that you would like to have with a character from your book. What would this conversation sound like? Fahrenheit 451

If I had to choose to have a conversation with any one of the characters in the book Fahrenheit 451it would be Mildred. I choose Mildred because I just don't understand why she doesn't love her husband Guy Montag. I would always ask her many Questions such as " Did you call the firefighters on Guy?". "What made you stop loving Guy Montag?". and also "Do you think you will ever try to kill yourself again?' I feel like my conversation with Mildred would be very awkward. I think it would be awkward because she's just such a "debby downer' she never seems happy about anything. I don't know how id keep a conversation going with her. If you had a conversation what questions would you ask Mildred?

Describe how the Different cahracters deal with the main conflict in the novel. Mokingjay

 

A main conflict in Mockingjay is person vs. person. Katniss, who is the protagonist in this story, wants to get revenge on President Snow, who is the antagonist, for all he has done. He invented the Hunger Games as an annual reminder that tells the Districts of Panem never to rebel and to remember that the Capitol has total control over all of the Districts. Katniss thinks that the Hunger Games are unjust because it involves picking innocent 12-to-18-year-olds to fight to the death in an arena. He also threatens to kill Katniss's friends and family if she ever took action to rebel again, or didn't marry Peeta in the Capitol (but she never even tried to rebel the first time!). also he set up a wall of children in front of his house so Katniss would have to kill them to get inside, which she would never do. Prim, Katniss's sister, was helping the sick and wounded kids in that wall. In attempt to get access to Snow, Coin bombed his house so they could get in. Sadly, the bombs killed the wall of innocent Capitol children and Prim. This motivates Katniss even more to kill Snow.

The main conflict of Fahrenheit 451 is society burns book but some people are trying to save the books so they can gain more knowledge and not just always watch television. Guy Montag is one of the main characters. Guy Montag is a firefighter and in this society firefighters are supposed to burn books. The odd thing is Guy Montag is a firefighter but he doesn’t like burning books he tries to keep them. Guy Montag actions are confusing considering he’s a firefighter but he wants to keep books. If he gets caught for having these books he will be in huge trouble! I can’t wait to see what will happen to him! Why do you think Guy Montag is a firefighter?
